Bioaerosols, an integral part of our ecological system, can be harmful to the human body despite their defense mechanisms. They can lead to allergies, toxic reactions, and infections by damaging the defense systems of the human body. Bioaerosols and the occurrence of human diseases have been well documented and correlated. Only 1% of the microorganisms collected from the environment can be cultivated in laboratories with standard techniques and growth mediums. Despite its defense mechanisms, these bioaerosols could cause damage to the human body. We are working on developing a novel testing method for detection of these bioaerosols.
