Personal Biography
Michael Manuszewski is a registered pharmacist and the owner of Island Prescription Center, an independent pharmacy located in Grand Island, NY. He graduated from SUNY at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy in 1987, with a B.S. in Pharmacy. He has held many positions in retail pharmacy, including chain, closed, and independent environments, but has found his niche as owner and supervising pharmacist of Island Prescription Center.
Experience & Career
He also serves as a preceptor for many pharmacy students from D’Youville College of Pharmacy, and SUNY at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Through collaboration he exemplifies to his students the importance of taking the time to get to know your patients, providing them with comprehensive knowledge of their medications, in addition to helping them better understand their disease states. He also takes great pride in mentoring his students in the art of compounding and its continued importance in pharmacy and healthcare
