Personal Biography
Dr. Sawsan Tabbaa is a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor, Research Program Director, and Program Director for the Master of Science degree in Orthodontics at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dental medicine, State University of New York at Buffalo.
Experience & Career
Counted among the awards that she has received are the Sigma Xi Research Award, an Excellence in Teaching Award, best-treated case Award from the University at Buffalo, and Faculty Awards from the American Association of Orthodontics Foundation and from the AAO. In addition to her experience in conventional children and adolescents orthodontic treatment, Dr. Tabbaa’s clinical interstate is focused on treating the adult/ senior population, fast orthodontics, and Invisalign. Dr. Tabbaa is an Evidence-Based Dentistry Champion Orthodontist. She is a member of the International and American Associations for Dental Research, the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.
